She just frowned again, shaking her head. "You're no fun. But that's not what I was getting at. Not a friend to help, just some random person that decided they might as well try to tick off the demons, or whatever other stupid reason they had for taking actions against them. That it didn't matter so much to them and they could do it without breaking their own rules because, even though they had similar gifts as your's, they were an entirely a different group. Then what?"

"Well then I would be eternialy in dept to them but a few hours is all it takes to destroy a mind it that place. I have seen what it does to people with my own two een." He pointed to his eyes before catching the bag that he had tossed in the air again. "I had to bring someone back from there once. It was not pretty to see what happened to the poor guy." He frowned. "I would actualy hate to be brought back. I would be free but then I would go back upon my second death."

Her eyes lowered to the floor, listening to what he said. She sighed, nearly giving up the idea. What use was it anyway? "Fine, you win. But, I think if there was a person like that, they'd figure out someway to do it right. I mean, who would go through all that trouble not for it to come extremely well? Wouldn't the chance to live a more normal life be good?" Her voice was in an odd uplifted tone, like she'd become more happy and more her normal self with the passing time. "And what is that anyway?" It was obviously a question about the bad, which became sort of annoying when trying to speak to him.

"I am actualy quite happy this way." He smiled slightly still tossing the bag from hand to hand. "My life is the only thing I have to love." His eyes bounced about following the movments of the bag as it was tossed about. "This is just a bag but it contains something very special." He stopped and opened it. Reaching a hand in he then pulled out a few small balls all of them about the size of a marble. All of them glowed dimly in colours ranging from blue, to green, to gold.

"Ah hah! So you treasure life, to some extent at the very least. Wouldn't it be nice, though, to have something other then that to love? Being alone, it isn't a pretty thing..." Her voice trailed at the ending. She'd been one to surround herself with friend's whenever she got the chance. Loneliness wasn't always the kindest thing. When he revealed the contents inside, she suddenly became captivated. The little glowing objects fascinated her. She tried to keep it down, not wanting to allow her childish fetish for bells to show through. Bells and bows would be her undoing one day...

"I am not allowed to fall in love." Cerisathe shook his head. "That's another rule. Since I decided to stick to my life I need to stick to the rules." Clearly he had actualy had a choice at one point. He then tucked the bag back into his robe keeping just a few of the orbs in his hand.
They grew in size slightly and he began to juggle them. "These are infact souls in a manner of speaking." He said. "Untill someone dies I get to keep them."

Her clear uplifting nature lowered upon hearing his first words. What a horrible fate, to never know. She couldn't stand hearing something like that, but she held her tounge- for now. She'd already witnessed a case sort of like what he spoke of, but it made her angry to think that someone would just throw away something like that. The case she dealt with, she was in fact still very much dealing with, but the person fought against it, despite the fact the physical pain could nearly kill them in itself.
To top it all off, she was a bit disgusted by the fact something so pretty were almost like captured souls just waiting for their fate while being like a toy to someone above them in power. She took it upon herself to do something, no matter the reaction she'd get from him; she snatched up one of the bells hastily in mid-juggle, careful not to disturb the others and cause him to drop them. And she held it slightly from him gently in her hands. She gazed upon it with a look of great care, like a compassionate mother would her child. Truly, she seemed quite motherly in this awkward moment.

"Be careful with that. I can't break them if I plan on doing so." He said glaring at her. "However you can with even a gentel touch at times. That is a life you hold to be taken when the agreement comes to an end." He stopped juggeling and looked at the orbs he held. Each one a life as so easy to break, so easy to get rid of for good. He had far more power over the lives of people than should be healthy.

Her eyes shot up at him, both narrowed and she held the circular object close to her, away from him being able to snatch it back. "Why do you think I took it from you?! I deal with souls on a very regular basis. I'm the Witch of Death for crying out loud!" Her voice did rise, but it was more of a loud speaking; not yelling. "I just decided that this soul needed a moment in more compassionate hands, that's all. You juggle the things like little toys and then scold me when I'm so utterly careful with it."

"Because I can't break them." He laughed then started bouncing one of them like a ball. "They actualy need a bit of movement... provides energy stops the mind of the person from rotting away." He did not seem to really care that she had one of the orbs. "Do what you will with that. The life belonging to that one will be drawing to a close..." He closed his eyes and focused. "Tonight... suicide if I am not mistaken."

The woman looked at him with another expression of disgust, but was somewhat satisfied with the fact she could keep the soul. "I don't how you can always stand it, but I guess you're very used to it." She laughed in bitter manor. "Funny how things work out. I'm protesting about how you go about knowing the details of death for other people, when I do as well."
She went into a full sitting position, her legs tucked under her. She clutched the object in her hands, staring down at it with the same expression of care as before. "Its tragic. When one goes to the lengths of suicide, it usually means their proper time wasn't up yet..." A hint of sadness washed through her voice. "But, at least on this end, you get to be safe with me for awhile." She obviously directed her last words to the soul that had taken on the form of a bell.

"You are admittadly holding one of the more 'tragic' stories." Cerisathe rolled his eyes to him they were of little intrest now but he could still remember all the people as clearly as the day he met them. "There were one of the people that wanted to bring someone back for the pleasure of killing them themselves. She nolonger has anything now that revenge has been gain and plan on killing themselves in a very specific manner."
He then looked at the orbs. "I still remember the stories of each individual." He held a blue orb up. "For example this is Adam McMillan a young lawyer who surrendered his soul to me about two years ago just after the disaster to bring back his kid sister who was killed in a housefire."
(( I have to get off now ))

Magion sighed, hearing the bit of the story of the being which was sort of contained in the object. "Any sort of emotion that's strong enough..." She repeated the male's words during previous conversation. "Whomever you are, I hope you're at least satisfied. Though, I must protest against going to such lengths to kill someone."
She shuffled again, moving to actually sit beside Cerisathe to get a good look at what or whom he spoke of now. "Mr. Adam McMillan... I am sorry for your loss. I hope it wasn't wasted and that your sister is doing alright..." How very odd of her. Talking to these things when in all reality they shouldn't be able to hear her. Only, maybe, just maybe, somewhere deep in their unconsciousness, they could. And maybe, in another sense, they could somehow feel her compassion. It was definitely a thought with this particular woman.
"Cerisathe, do you always remember every person you meet? Even the ones that aren't in need of your services?" Her voice was curious, her attention drifting to him and away from the soul in her hands and the ones in his for a moment.

His head went over to the side and he looked at her for a few moments before shifting his gaze to the trees that surounded them. "This guy did not waste everything so much. Last time I checked both he and his sister would live to be over seventy and three new lives would be made between them." He shrugged and pulled the bag back out. The souls returned to their normal size and he put them in carefuly.
"Well not quite everyone I meet. It is a more recent thing only been able to remember everyone for the past six years. My memory is exelent when it comes to most people. Every person I have sat down next to in a bar and listened to sticks." He sighed and started tracing symbols on the ground. "I only go to such places to listen to people."

"I'm very glad then. At least they should both be able to be happy." She smiled lightly, then stole a glance at the one thing she still held. It was rather pretty in an object form, but very sad that the person this belonged to would die later tonight. She held it like a treasure, really, protecting it. She'd always held a large amount of compassion. That being one of the reasons her own job was so difficult for her.
"Ha, so I guess that means I'll appear somewhere in the chapters, then?" She paused for a moment. "If that's so, then its quite alright, I suppose. Having such a perfect memory like that must come in handy, but its terrible to think that if there was something you didn't want to remember then it'd still be there despite that." Her gaze drifted about, ending up on the darkening sky and she sighed. "Does listening to others really entertain you so much?"
