It had been nearly a month since War and Lang had last spoken to each other. He hadn't seen her since the time he'd dropped her off and had important business to deal with. Everything during that job had been successful. His client's son was fine now, shaken up, but otherwise alright. War was shot at and got hit in his back by one of his enemies lackeys, but was used to those injuries by now. He didn't have to end anyone's life this time, but the three lackeys were imprisoned, and their leader escaped. The Aisha had the escape on his mind and vowed to be on call to his client if anything else came up.
Then, only a little while after catching up with work and taking his first day off to relax a little, the problems with his sister came up on him again. He was by himself, so it effected him badly. That day, his little sister ran in and practically tackled him! Rhosey really was alright! Well, she was safe now. Something about her had changed and he learned off all what had happened. She had been dying, actually dying, at one point. She'd protested in something like a court's trial that ended with her being locked up by the group that was supposed to save her. But, worst of all, the man who got her into all the trouble was now living at their mansion! War was absolutely against Defess living with Rhosey and himself, but he couldn't cast him out when his sister liked him so much. The main reason he hadn't made time to see Lang again was because he was dealing with that, getting his sister settled back in, and then having to consider everything of his feelings and what not.
However, all the occurrences didn't matter so much now, as the male pulled up in front of Lang's house on his motorcycle. He did so rather silently, hoping not for her or any of her family to hear him. It would ruin the surprise. He just hoped she was home. Otherwise things would be ruined. It was later in the day, less then an hour before the complete sunset. Where would she go at this time? Well, he had no idea, but still. He dismounted from his bike, dusting himself off a bit before approaching the door, taking a breath, and knocking on it a time or two before standing back and waiting. He was clothing was his usual, black. He had on some black pants, a black muscle shirt and his trench coat. He wasn't wearing any gloves today though and he hand a random assortment of decorative chains on his coat, as well as casually hanging from one of his pant pockets like a chain wallet was in his pocket.

During that past month, Lang really hadn't been up to too much. At least, nothing really exciting. She didn't go hanging out with people too often, mainly just went out for walks, the usual stuff, keeping herself busy. The only real change in her lifestyle since then was...well, she cooked a whole bunch more. Teriyaki was happy to be her guinea pig, when she practiced cooking all those sweets that she promised she'd cook for War. And she had to say, she was getting pretty darn good at it, she already had a few recipes down pat. Having not seen him for so long though, she was getting a little discouraged, but he was a busy sort of guy, right?
At the moment, Lang wasn't cooking though, she was planning on some of that later, most likely, but she was up in her room for the moment, sitting down on her bed and doing some practice sketches. Another thing she did quite often, but this wasn't so recent, her room was cluttered with papers really, but at least they were semi organized in piles.
Today, she was wearing some black capris, with a pair of much brighter red and white shoes, and the same colored shirt, red with a bit of white trimming. Aside from that, she had in her pocket that mirror, which she had just about everywhere, as well as a plain ol' necklace, and some bracelettes and such.
Her ears perked a tad, at the knock on the door, which she almost instantly dismissed as one of Teriyaki's friends or something, but they were probably too lazy or busy to get the door. So, she pulled herself up from her drawings, heading over to the door and opening up. "WAR?!" Her lips curved into a giant grin, revealing her pearly whites as well. She nearly tackled him in a hug, she was so happy to see him. "Wow, that was unexpected, what's up?!" She smiled, backing away from the hug to look up at him. Ah, it was really War!

"Ahh!" Was all War managed to get out as he was practically tackled. He through his arms around her, stepping back to balance himself. "Nice to see you too, Lang." He said as he released her and she stepped back. "I figured I'd just surprise you is all." He said with a shrug, but was smiling. In general, he seemed happier then before. There wasn't as many ordeals plaguing his mind. "I hope you've been well and I'm sorry for sort of disappearing again. But...what are you doing anything tonight?" He, apparently, was plotting something.

"Well, nice job, ya surprised me. It's just so nice to see you again." She grinned, sort of with a blissful mood to her. Well, she certainly was happy to see him, at least. "Anyway, no problem, I know you've probably been pretty busy...Oh, um, no plans, free as a bird." She smiled, pocketing her hands as she looked over to him.

"Heh, you have no idea." he remarked, his tail flicking once. Even though his sister came back, he was still doing a lot of her chores plus what was already on his plate. He didn't want her to over work herself and keeping that friend of her's in order was time consuming. "That's perfect. If you don't mind, would you like to accompany me?"

"Heh, great. Of course I would, Master War. But can I ask, where are we going?" She smirked at the use of that old nickname that he didn't quite love, tilting her head lightly as she looked to him. She was starting to realize something was up his sleeve. At least she thought so, or it looked that way. The question now was, what?

War smirked. "Now now, its not proper for a good servant to question their Master." He shook his head. "But I suppose I'll tell you something. One of my clients is having a celebration for his most recent success. I was invited to come but I thought, after not seeing you, I'd rather hang out with you now that I got a day off. I don't want to go to his party, but there's a certain event that's happening that I figured you'd like to see." He paused. "Any more then that would ruin the surprise."

"Hah, alright. That's good enough, I guess. Should I change or anything?" She asked, looking down at herself to see she was dressed casually. Good to at least check and make sure, if she had no idea where they were going and all. She was rather eager to see what it was, though.

War took a step back, to see what it was she was actually wearing and he shook his head. "No, that's fine. You might want to grab a jacket though, if you think you'll get cold being outside tonight." All the while he was very happy that she agreed to accompany him tonight. Hopefully she would be surprised.

"Mk, cool." She replied, smiling. At least that was some hint as to where they were going, but not really. She stepped further inside for a moment to get to the coat hanger, pulling off a small white jacket and throwing it on, before stepping outside again and shutting the door after her. "Ok, all set, I guess." She said and grinned.

"Not going to warn anyone this time?" He rose an eyebrow. "Ah, very well then. Its not too far from here. Mind taking my bike?" He asked, taking a few more steps back and looking over to where it was parked. He'd packed some stuff away inside that would assist with whatever his surprise was. And he knew that with her motorcycle finished she might have wanted to take it on her own, so it was best to ask and make sure.

"Eh, I'm sure they'll realize I'm out, and I have my cellphone." She shrugged. "Mk, sure." Whatever means of transportation worked, she wanted to see this surprise and just hang out with War. He was getting her awfully curious now.

War smiled faintly. "Alright then, come on." Without thinking about it, he took Lang's hand to lead her back to where he had parked. Even after a month's time he still felt at ease around Lang, and having held her hand for that ridiculous period of time that day some weeks ago, he didn't see anything wrong with what he did. He didn't wait for many more words to be exchanged, before mounting the motorcycle and gesturing for her to jump on.

She smirked, happy to see nothing seemed to change between them. That was a little fear in the back of her mind. What if they had to remeet each other, and be awkward for a while or something? But, it seemed they were still as good as ever, and none of her feelings had changed. While being led by his hand, she headed towards the bike, jumping on the back of it after him.

Once War could feel Lang there on the back of the seat, he started up the motorcycle. Then turned around, going back roughly the way he came instead heading deeper into the city. The place they were going was pratically just outside of the city, where there weren't so many buildings. It was peaceful there.
