"Hah, well, you could always just wear white you know. It really doesn't burn your skin or anything." She grinned, nudging him with her elbow. "Ya know, it doesn't actually have to be white. Take baby steps, wear pink and orange first." She joked, grinning as all that was left of the sun were tints of the sunset color stains.

War made a hissing sound, like the sun was purely evil. "Absolutely not, if I wore pink or orange or even white for that matter, I could not blend into the shadows. And if that happened, then people will start to pester me by talking, I'd get irritated and end up tranquilizing them. And I'm sure no one wants that." So he wouldn't tranquilize them, but he'd probably walk away. "By the way, I mildly hate you." He didn't mean it really, you could tell by his voice, but he was referring to what caused him to purr. It was embarrassing. "Just, please don't mess with my hair...or ears again."

"Ouch. Sorry I talk and all. You're so cruel, War, you're breaking my heart." She said with a dramatic sigh, her hand flying over her heart as she leaned further on him. "But you can't expect me to promise that. Ya know, I thought I heard a little purr in there." She grinned, her hand reaching up and softly scratching the base of his ear. "Come on now, it's not like I can embarrass you further, at least in front of me. I already know your embarrassing little secrets." She grinned as she pat/scratched his ear.

"Now I wouldn't want that. Shall I'll get the tape?" He rose an eyebrow. But knowing that she caught on to his purring reaction he flinched and attempted to move away from her hand. It didn't work though, the only way it would have was if he'd gotten up. As she began to scratch his ear, he tried not to purr, only to fail miserably as the soft rumbling formed in his throat and grew louder. "This.is.not.fair-Curse.you.Lang."

"Maybe. Duct tape does fix everything." She said with a sollumn nod, before grinning deviously and turning all the way around and scratching his ear onward, despite his disapproval. "Aw, don't curse me. It's cuuuute. I like it, and obviously you don't really mind either, purring means you secretly enjoy it." She replied, grinning in utter enjoyment. That was adorable, really.

War tried to move away, but there still wasn't anywhere for him to go. And the fact that felines liked having their ears scratched didn't help the matter that he didn't want to sit there purring. "Lang, seriously, stop!" His voice would have been firm, if it hadn't been smothered from the other vocal sound. He reached up to grab Lang's hand, stopping her from continuing to scratch his ear.

"Aw, alright, if you really hate it that much. But don't see why. It's really not that embarrassing, lots of people have that sorta thing, like dogs kick their legs. Like, I get in this trance practically when someone scratches this one part of my neck. Don't purr, but might as well." She shrugged, sitting back more and dropping her hand, because he took it so seriously. When she explained the whole neck thing, she pointed to the upper part of her neck, near her chin and right on the side, probably not the best idea.

War sighed thankfully when Lang stopped. "It is embarrassing and I'm very thankful I'm not a dog." But yes, when she spilled her own information, he got his own devious grin. "Oh really?" As one would expect, he returned the favor by brushing her hair back and scratching her neck gently. So they both were weird like that. But oh well, that's what made them so unique.

"It's not embarrassing in front of me, I mean, it's me." She replied, grinning over to him. Even when his hand pushed away her hair, her hair sort of stood on end. Crap, bad idea, shouldn't have toolddd... "Eeee.." Her sholder pulled up towards her head, before suddenly relaxing and her back fell towards him. "Bad...bad..." She mumbled, but her voice was relaxed and her eyes were contently closed.

"That makes even more so, in a sense." He said quietly. Even though she'd told him that she went into a sort of trance, he didn't expect her to fall or anything. But he supported her with his free arm. He couldn't help but to wonder why it was 'bad' exactly. She picked on him, saying he didn't really have a right to complain. He'd been too busy talking and being attacked by Lang to notice it was pretty much black out, except for the stars and the moon. His eyes did catch the light too, so it added to the reasons of him not noticing.

While he was still touching that neck, she ended up sort of curling up against him comfortably. When someone scratched her neck like that, she just sort of, got like a pet, haha, she practically couldn't think in that mode. "Not good, see?" She managed, attempting to shake off the trance.

War ws taken back a bit by her reaction and stopped scratching her neck, mostly for her own benefit. Admittedly, he didn't exactly expect her to do that either. "Embarrassed at all or are you all good?" He asked, looking down at her.

"Ah, yeah, I think that's worse than purring." She noted with a mild blush, pulling herself out of the curl a little. Good thing it was so dark out now. "My brain just sorta goes blank." She said with a frown. She'd need to start wearing a neck brace or something, if he kept that up.

War chuckled lightly. "So it appears we both have our little problems. Just remember that you brought it upon yourself, and I was being nice." Purring nearly immobilized him, but he'd been able to retain some sense of rightness. "Look on the bright side, I know one way to stop you." He smiled. He was about to say something else but, when the sky was filled with a blinding light, he was cut off. And a loud 'bang' sound rushed out suddenly, following the the appearance of the glittering lights. The starting firework had been launched into the sky.

"Hah, then if I become a vampire, we'll both be going for each other's necks." She noted, laughing a bit at that idea, before her eye suddenly shot to the sky at that boom. "Whoa-ho-ho, fireworks? Wow." She said, grinning at the beauty of that. She leaned back again, looking to the sky and twinkling star-like flares falling downward.
