"Oh my more big appartment blocks." He said looking up. "Just tell me that you are not like other people I know who decide the best place to live is the top floor and you always need to be taking the stairs and stuff like that... It's kinda weird." He scratched his head and shrugged. "Oh well I can't really say much anyway."

Her eyes flickered open to allow them to rest on the large building. "Oh no, I live on the seven floor and I'm content with taking the elevator." She assured him. "I would have probably moved into the top floor, but it wasn't open." She shrugged, making her way to the door and waving him along. "If you like, I can fix your robe or something while we're here, get all the stains out. I've gained some useful magic in altering cloth."

"Sounds good to me." He said cheerfuly as he followed her. "Sure beats having to use up a lot of energy in going back to the ghost village." He was thankfuly over his dislike for technology a bit because up untill quite recently he would have actualy insisted on taking the stairs up.

"Ghost Village?" She asked as she walked inside the nearly empty first floor. Everything here was all shades of white, the walls and tile. There was a woman standing behind a large counter to one side thankfully messing with something so as not to notice the two as they entered, a large grouping of boxes to the other and the elevator and stairway across from the door. She had made her way to the boxes without so much as a glance at the woman standing at her post. Instead, she pulled out a small key and opened one of the boxes- her mail box. At the sight of its contents she huffed; three long white envelopes with random company post marks.

"Yeah it was all burned down there are just charred remains of most of the buildings. It is still where I count to be my true home though... the old place just up the hill, hidden from sight." He had some pretty fond memories of that place up untill the fire had happened and everyone died and split up.

She pulled out the envelopes, shut the box, and slipped the key away. She didn't respond to him until in the safety of the elevator and was pressing the seventh floor button. Her eyebrows pulled together a bit. "You mean...your home was destroyed?" She didn't sound pleased; having knowing, in a way, what it was like to have your home destroyed. "Might I ask what the story is behind that?"

"One of our number got possesed during a summoning..." He sighed, he had only heard of what had happened from the person themself since everyone that had been around her at the time had died. He had been lucky to be elsewhere working at the time. "A greater demon of destruction, a Torithian, is not something you really wish to deal with where there are people about. It took a lot of effort and a lot of life to get the whole thing under control."

She fell silent for a moment, staring blankly at the dials on the face of the elevator as they were carried up. "I'm sorry to hear that..." She replied quietly after a moment. And, as it was with every time she said she was sorry, you could tell she was even if it wasn't as strong showing as it once was. It didn't matter if it was her fault or not, or if it even had anything to do with her.
There was a slight 'ding' sound and the metal doors opened up. She waited, giving him first passage into the hallway.

"It was a few years ago now... since then the few of us who are still alive have moved on." He said walking out and looking around the hallway. "Though that demon is not one for giving up, he came back not that long ago. Though now he is considrably more easy to control."

She followed out after him, pointing down the hall to the last door that way. "Still, whenever someone loses their home, no matter when, its a tragic thing. I'm pleased to hear, however, that the demon is easier to control." she paused. "Then again, if this Torithian had appeared recently and you know its easier to control, that must mean you weren't able to stay out of trouble."

"Yeah... easyer to keep under control but still a huge helth risk, that and we can't actualy get rid of him. He still can pack a huge punch... claw... whatever." He pulled back his robe and indicated all the bloodstained bandages wrapped tightly around him. "It wasn't that bad though since I am not a smoking pile of ash or anything of the sort." He then headed off down the hall towards the door she had pointed out."

She eyed his wrapping with a dark look, if black eyes could be darker, but it seemed she somehow managed. "So much for being careful." She practically growled. That was something, though, he hadn't been reduced to a pile of dead organic material. In her own personal thoughts she was calculating how difficult it would be to steal a soul when its physical body had that much damage- the odds weren't very good.
She scrambled for a key when they reached the last door. According to the distance this door had from the nearest one up the hall, it was pretty big for an apartment. From the inside, one could hear a blaring male monotone voice. Her ear twitched slightly in reaction to this. Just great.

"You can only be so careful when you are forced into a fight with a big seven foot tall wolf demon thing with more spikes on it than get oot." He said quietly shaking his head. He ears flicked up at the sound of the voice but he didn't say anything more for the time being. He just thought Magion was anoyed now.

"Sounds like my newest roommate, just cut off a foot and turn the wolf into a cat." She replied, as she stuck the key into the lock and tossed the door open. Stepping inside one found themselves in the entrance to the living room. From that point, if you dodged the sofa, TV, chairs and dining room table, you could see into the kitchen and also other miscellaneous doors that went off into other rooms. The object causing all the sound was the thirty-six inch screen TV that happened to be on the Discovery Channel going over what sounded like World War One. The announcer resiting what she'd heard enough of already, "The Russians were falling...they had no rescources...weren't industilaized...etc, etc." Yet, if you looked at the screen it was harder to tell what was going on. The glass was damaged, a huge gaping crack was in the center of the screen. Magion huffed, you could swear her eye was twitching when she saw this. No one was in the room, it had been deserted aside from the two that had just walked in.

"Well hurting Worlodi hurts the person he is bound to in a way. They have a strong conection to eachother." He followed her in and looked around at everything his eyes wide. There was far more in here than there was in his own reidence. He then looked at the TV and frowned. "WHo would have been attacking the evil screen then?"
