Day, night; things all washed together and fell into a relatively normal pattern, well, normal for one particular young woman. Months had passed with the scarce thoughts of someone she'd met a time ago but her life was filling itself up, she didn't have as much free time as she did then. Her life became entwined with more people whom had problematic lives. As if one friend with a curse and another who almost constantly needed her protection wasn't enough. Now she dealt with knowing a few more people that she saw everyday. Hey, she even gained a second roommate thanks to her overwhelming compassion for people. She wouldn't really complain, she liked being around people, but even she needed a break from time to time.
Magion huffed lightly as she strode down the concrete sidewalk with haste. Her shoes were nearly silent as she trudged on ahead. Her fingers were wrapped tightly around the pole of her large scythe, a bit of blood was smeared onto the blade, dripping down onto the bright colored bow just below it. Her hands were stained with the red liquid, not that of her own; at least she had her black netted gloves on to help disillusion it. Luck wasn't really with her today; the sun hadn't set yet. It was darker then the usual day but it wouldn't be considered night until an hour or so. She couldn't flee into the darkness like usual, someone just had to change their plans and not kill under the cover of the night. Though she hated killing with every fiber of who she was, the killer could have at least waited for a better time frame. But no, now she was stuck fleeing from the police while the sun aided them in her tracking.
Sirens rang out in the distance, causing her ears to fall back both for the irritation of their determination to arrest the one who tried to prevent the victim's fate and the annoyance of the loud sound. Even as she fled, her mind wandered to far off things and she smiled faintly. Why her mind brought this remembrance to her now, she didn't know. Perhaps it was subconsciously telling her something, but she doubted it. Why go deeper then the thought that she wouldn't want to see him again while she was in this state- blood covered and tracked as a criminal. She hated her job enough already, she didn't need another reason to dislike it more.
She turned to dash down an alleyway, deeper into the city. And, as she appeared on the other side, she was filled with relief. It would be harder for average beings to track her down if she was mixed in with all the other city-goers shoving their way back and forth past each other. So many people were walking home from their pitiful excuses for work, she just filed into the crowd. Sure, people avoided her a bit what with the huge weapon in hand, but the mass of people caused enough confusion for her cover and honestly allowed her to drift off in thought.
It really had been months since she ran into the other soul stealer of sorts. Thankfully, she was able to hold onto her memory with a death grip. The aid of the physical objects helped during those first few days until she was capable of drawing upon her memory on her own. Ha, she'd have to boast about her accomplishment whenever she saw him again- whenever that would be. A vague smile spread on her face in remembrance of what she'd sent along with him and her request. There was a specific reason the bunny boy (XD) wasn't allowed to open the gift until a good time had passed- the wrapped box was completely empty when she handed it over to him. She took time in choosing her gift and sent it off to appear in the box when she finally decided, but he wouldn't really have known that. She couldn't help but to wonder what all he must have thought when he opened it. Upon that time, he would have discovered more then just one thing. After digging through a small mass of bright tissue paper, he'd discover a shiny silver chain necklace. The circular amulet on it was about two inches by two, but he wouldn't be able to open it. The second object was something she did more for laughs and her own entertainment, she created a small miniature of herself if she'd been an animal. It was smaller then the plush bunny she made after him, only the size of a key chain plush; she even added the actual key chain. As for the third object, it was a letter folded up on the bottom that had read;
Hello, hello. You haven't forgotten about me, have you? Like you would, considering how much you stated you never forgot anyone you met, but I wanted to make sure that you wouldn't. I don't want either of our memories to fade; that wouldn't be any fun. Can you blame me for being extra careful? Ha, I guess you've finally opened up my gift! I hope you like them, even though they may be a bit odd. I have my reasons for choosing these gifts. I also hope they aren't bothersome or anything. I tried my best to be selective in choosing. Really, do you know how hard it was to choose gifts for YOU though? I mean really, must have been one of the hardest tasks I've had to do. Ha ha. For the record, that little key chain plush is the first thing I've made in likeness to myself. It was weird when I made it, but it sort of made sense to send something like that along with you. That way, I didn't feel so odd having a mini you around. Eh, well, I suppose this is goodbye, for now anyway. Don't forget, I promised to glomp you the next time I see you. If you yell at me, I just have to cry...or beat you up or something. He he. Sincerely, Magion.
Alright, so, from the letter he might have figured out it was written afterward...maybe.
