Ok, this was just an idea that's been floating around in my head for awhile and when I had nothing else to do, I decided to write this little piece of work. Its supposed to be about my Aisha, War, and how the changes in his general life are beginning to make him a little different. Honestly, there is quite a bit going on in his life currently, so its no lie. This was something that I thought he just might do, if he didn't mind sounding like and idiot or a weirdo or something of the sort. He's probably too cool to really do this but still, its a bit entertaining. Sorry War. So anyway, tell me what you think about it.
"Um, Rhosey?" The male Aisha questioned his slightly younger sister. The two were sitting across from each other in pretty wooden ornate chairs. Between them was the small circular matching table with a white doily in the center. This set up happened to be off on the right side of the large mansion living room that the two resided in. It was 'teatime,' even though they never actually set an exact time for having tea or even sat down and drank it everyday. Today was a more relaxing time. No missions had been assigned to the duo and the female of the pair took off work at the bookstore. And now, because they both developed quite a liking for said liquid beverage, the decided to have a peaceful moment together just drinking it. It had been so long since something like this was able to happen. "Yes, War?" The woman lowered the teacup from her lips just as she addressed her brother. "Uh, well..." War seemed to hesitate now. The expression he wore now showed that he was a bit uncomfortable with something, well, possibly. He placed his own glass down on the saucer set in front of him on the table. All in all, the situation would have looked odd, out of place, like something just wasn't right. It was a very rare occurrence that this particular man showed any sort of these type emotions, and then add the fact that he presented a somewhat evil look with wearing all the dark stuff and serious expression. It just seemed wrong for him to be drinking tea if a dainty teacup and having obvious problems about speaking what ever was on his mind. The Gelertess waited patiently for her brother, not rushing him into whatever he planned to say. She knew well enough that he'd get to it in his own time and rushing him was likely to make it worse.
"How exactly...do you know when you love someone?" He finally asked, his voice slow with short yet noticeable pauses. Rhosey's eyebrows rose in contained surprise. She hadn't thought that he would ask something like that, however, she could tell he'd changed recently. It was just the little things, no one else would really see them, but she was always with him. He could never hide even the slightest change in how he act or felt, and the same went for her. So, she prepared to answer the best way she could without questioning his reasoning for asking. But he spoke first, "So many things have happened lately. New people have come and gone. Things have changed for us, even if they've been in subtle ways." He explained. His voice had changed back to its normal tone, that somewhat confident, serious type. The Gelertess nodded. "I understand. So many things are beginning to alter our paths." She took a deep breath and another moment to speak of the question's reply. "Its actually a different event for everyone...I'd say that it all depends on the person and the person they are questioning for loving or not. It can start and be triggered in many ways. From the undoubtable urge to be with them, or to protect them. Always loving their company. If they make you feel the best, if they accept you. If they protect you or make you laugh." A very delicate smile played onto her lips as she spoke. It was a beautiful thing in her eyes. Had always been something she dreamed about and longed for with every bit of her being. Even in finding it once and losing it tragically, she still could feel the warmth of that love. Even if she loved again, that lost person would stay in her heart forever. She'd never dare to forget them. And whomever she loved now, they would be just as undeniably important. Her current love wouldn't falter. War returned a gentle smile to his sister, encouraging her in a way. "You know it so well...Yet I'm...I hardly know what's right to do. I know I love you, but its a different kind. I suppose they can almost be the same, but very different too..." His silvery eyes fell, examining the designs in the wooden tabletop. He acted like they were fascinating but his black tipped ears fell back on his head, a sure sign that only meant that he was lost in deep thought. Would he honestly know if or when such a thing came up in his case? His life was so...different and far more secluded. He lacked common social skills and had very little contact with other people. How would fate react to a man like him...?
P.S. Yes, War is a 24 year old Aisha and has never technically dated. Most of his life has been very complicated and still is, so he never really had time to work on relationships or anything. And, aside from that fact, he lacked the proper social skills do to a life of absolute seclusion and torture. That's why his younger sister knows more on the subject then he does; she's been engaged once.
