War nodded after she said he was allowed to inspect the bike. He knelt down, moving along the bike looking over every inch of it with great and careful detail. Continuing to absorb the bit of information, detailing what was needed. After a few minutes of this inspection, he stood up again. "Looks like you aren't actually missing too much, it'll be easy to finish it up. And, if you're interested, I might be able to add some extra stuff for your benefit." He grinned.
(Eh, its not, he kept yelling at me because he wanted a cracker, but we ran out. -.- The same goes with me. I don't like baby sitting and I'm sure most would think I scare them, but the like attack me. My little cousin, who's two in a half, jumped on me trying to give me a hug and messed up my chin.)

"That's good, then I won't feel so bad taking random parts from you, if it's less." She said with a smile to him, still looking down to the bike. "Extra parts? That sounds pretty cool, what kinda stuff did you have in mind?" She asked curiously, intrigued as usual. Hey, she'd probably use her bike a lot, might as well make it nice while she had the chance.
ooc:Yup, it happens. I babysat a little girl once, and at school a few days later she actually tackled me to the ground. And it was all muddy too. This might be because I don't yell at them when they tackle me, then like three more kids I babysat so long ago ran over screaming, and pretending they were kitties or dogs or something. O.o

"Heh, you know, I really don't care how many parts you need. I'd probably end up giving you one of my extra bikes if you really wanted one, anyway. Its another one of those things that isn't a big deal to me." He explained.
His hand then lifted to his chin, signifying his thought. "Lets see, I could add an extra part to the motor, allowing a silent clean ride, special brakes to stop nearly instantly, an extra part allowing to make it much easier to drive, ableing you to drive one handed with practice...." Humm, he continued to think.
(Geez, that sucks. I'm glad I only babysit my relatives. Though, at school one of my little cousins followed me around everywhere for like a month...it was odd...)

"Aw, you're so nice." She replied with a warm smile, almost wanting to hug him, though she figured that would freak him out or something. "Those all sound awesome, thank you." She said to him with a grateful grin. "Though, I think one bike is enough for me, I'm not going to ask that much of you."
ooc: Lucky, I never babysit relatives. But eh, I don't babysit that much at all lately, especially since my last constant babysitting job neglected to pay me half the time.

War's hand lowered from his chin, only to end up rubbing the back of his neck a second later, almost like a shy response. "Eh heh heh, you're welcome." He finally said with a warm smile. "Alright, I'm sure you're attached to this one and with the added parts, it should be perfect for you anyway. Like I said, its really nice."
Then a time of silence fell through the room, and it was awkward. So he broke the silence, "If I do remember correctly, I told you'd I'd show you my secret to traveling back and forth to my house quickly. Still interested in see that?"
(Eh, I hate when the happens. People say that they're gonna pay you for it, then the never do and you had to deal with a raging childen...Like when they through tantrums and get nothing out of it...)

Aw, he was getting all shy, funny. She best not make him too embarrassed, bad Lang for calling him nice. She smiled, looking up suddenly at the secret being mentioned. "Yup, secret time now?" She asked, her smile growing to a toothy grin, which revealed her rather sharp canine teeth, almost fangs, though the rest appeared relatively normal. "What is it, worm hole, hyper space control, running really fast?" She said with a grin at her ridiculous questions. But who knew, it could be one of those.
ooc: I know, it's horrible. D: Not to mention I was babysitting four kids, and had to wake up at like 7 because they wanted me there so early. Once she even made me cook, and I can't cook. I burned the grilled cheese the first time, and since they only had just enough bread, I had to eat the charcoal cheese. D:

"Yea..." War laughed lightly at her response of naming off random traveling 'miracles.' And he did notice her fangs, but didn't actually think much of it. Hey, if she was a vampire or something like that she didn't do anything to him at all so far, so why would it bother him? "Well, I'm a pretty fast runner, but nothing outside of speeds normally capable of people. However, the other two are somewhat close." he paused. "Its like a portal or wormhole, I guess, that I bend to my will...." he explained. "Do you have a decent sized mirror somewhere in your house?" He then asked, seeming like a completely random question.
(Eep, black cheese....sounds...umm....good? Heh. That must be frustrating, waking up at that time to go to someones else's house. I could handle it at my house, but no way would I wanna go that early to babysit somewhere else.)

"Oh really? That definately sounds interesting." She said, grinning still. "Mirror, let's see..." She mumbled, turning from the bike and walking around it, looking about the garage in search of something.
"Ah, here we go. Will this do?" She asked, resting one hand on a clothe, before pulling it away to reveal a full length mirror, carved with intricate designs on it's sides, giving it a rather antique look. It's front had a thin layer of dust, after sitting here for who knows how long.

War's eyes followed after Lang as she walked around, just waiting. When she revealing the large mirror, he grinned, walking up to it. He stared at it a moment, bending over a bit to look at it closely, interested in the designs. This looked to be something that fit close to the style of many of his own mirrors. Which sounded weird, for him being a guy and owning more mirrors then most people. "Yes, this is perfect." he said, straighting back up.
He began to bush away the accumulated dust with a hand. Once it was clear he glanced at Lang. "So, I hope you're ready." He pulled off the thick fingerless glove from from his right hand, and then pressed it gently against the reflecting glass. he closed his eyes, and it seemed a rippling wave went through the surface of the mirror, starting at his hand and going out to the edges. Once this was finished, he opened his eyes, pulled his hand away and put his glove back on quickly. Turning to completely face the Ixi to see what her reaction was going to be.

Lang watched in interested as he inspected the mirror, and evermore as he placed his hand on it. As it began to take on a water look, she cocked an eyebrow, and tilted her head to one side, giving an obvious look of awe. "Wow, that's cool." She mumbled to herself, almost transfixed on the rippling glass.

Inside War was pleased with her reaction, but he didn't really show it to an extent on the outside, hanging onto his nature of keeping to himself with a fair grip. He flicked away some of the hair that fell into his eyes, an automatic reaction. And he held out his hand for her. "Well, lets go." he said. "I hope you're ready to see my house."

"Ready as I'll ever be." She said, feeling extra adventurous today. She took his hand, wandering how it'll feel, what it will be like, will it be over in a second? Questions raced through her mind as she looked into the mirror, knowing she was going to go through it in just a second.
Oddly, it reminded her of Through the Looking Glass. How Alice must have felt, when diving through the glass that first time. That was how the original story went, right?

War gripped her hand firmly, but still carefully as she placed it into his own. He wasn't going to risk her ending up somewhere else. With her assurance, he faced the mirror and moved into it. His body became flat, an image in the mirror, yet his 3D hand was still holding onto her's even outside the glass. And then, he pulled her though with a light force.
Once inside, it was indescribable. It looked like a blank hallway, a door at its far end. And around them everywhere, even above and below them, there was what looked like a circular glass wall, holding back an ocean of deep blue water from crushing them. Or, well, that's what it looked like.

Lang looked on in shock. Somehow, she had stepped into a fantasy world, beyond her imagination. Before she knew it, she was behind the glass, looking at the oceans around her and then back to War, to see his expression, or anything. Instinctively, she tightened her grip on his hand, just hoping she wouldn't fall. She really was in a different world now, it seemed, and for some reason, she wasn't too scared of it, more excited about it, intrigued, eager to see what came next.

Once Lang was securely inside of the mirror, War turned sideways to look at her. The expression he was giving her was full of assurance and security. "Don't worry, you won't fall and I wouldn't let anything bad happen to you, I promise." he said, almost like he was reading her mind. He did, however, pull her a bit closer to him now - so they were walking nearly side by side as he lead her farther into the hall and toward the door at the other end. No way he'd let her wander, much much too risky. "The appearance inside of the mirrors change often." he said, trying to keep her interest in this then think about the dangerous unknown she could probably think up in her mind.
