He, the male Aisha, sighed softly. War was leaning up against the trunk of the tree; a task pretty difficult for him considering the metal blades growing from his back, however, he managed. He was just simply staring up at the sky as it washed over with oranges and purples. So many things were going on and it nagged at his heart deep inside. Rhosey, his beloved sister, was in some other world and he couldn't do anything about it. This, the visiting of the city park, was the best thing he could do for her now. She always sent him out of the house, telling him he needed to be more social - so he was doing what he knew would make her happy. She'd kill him if she came back to him locked inside of his room back at the mansion. Ah, so yes, he was out in the city for that little secret reason. Too bad he wasn't very social and doubted he'd actually meet anyone here....
The dark Aisha was wearing his most normal attire, all black. The usual black pants, boots, gloves, trench coat and, if you would've seen his shirt, it would have been black too. And, as for his black hair, it was a little messy and the bits of sunlight that actually shone down between the branches of the trees made it shimmer with silver and purple highlights. Though, despite his spiffy-ness, he looked a little tired. Lack of sleep and working nearly nonstop was finally catching up with him, and you could tell if you looked carefully at his silvery eyes.

The ixi was walking along the park again today, just wandering around, looking up to the sky in thought. She appeared most average with the others, though there weren't to many at the park today. Before she knew it, she was walking near the trees, on the outskirts of the small forest in the park's center.
Her dark black hair fell down to her shoulders, with a single white streak in front of her long green ears, which had some piercings here and there. From her hair also protruded two spiralling horns, as most mutant ixis had.
Today, she wore a plain brown shirt, half covered by an off-white jacket that was decorated with a brown star on the back and tips of each sleeve. Black baggy pants clung to her waist by a thin red belt, nothing special today, as usual.
She finally looked down to earth, afraid if she kept walking like this, she'd run into something. Upon doing this, however, she saw a dark figure, and when approaching, she quickly recognized him. "War?" She said to him, smiling lightly to reveal her sharp canine teeth.

At first War was completely oblivious to anything going on around him. Thoughts of Rhosey, Defess, Hafek, Goren, Shoushi..., everyone he knew that was involved with the most recent happenings, danced through his head. He was actually mad at himself, his arrow tipped tail swaying back and forth a little to show his internal aggravation.
But then the Aisha's black tipped ears perked up, hearing his own name being called. His eyes fell from the sky, and shifted in the Ixi's direction. His tired, angry eyes grew wide when realizing who it was. "Lang...?" his voice was questionable, not so dark as it had been for the last while. War was honestly quite shocked at this sight. Not having seen hide or hair of this particular Ixi seen the time they first met.
(Meh, sorry its not very good. I'm being rushed and am cleaning inbetween replying.)

"Yup!" She said cheerfully, now sure it was him. "Been a while, huh?" She said, a bit amazed she had seen him again. It had been quite a while since they last saw each other. And even if they didn't talk too much, it definately was nice to see him again.
She continued to walk towards him, smiling still as if this had just made her day. Hey, reuniting with an old friend is pretty cool, and doesn't happen too much. "So, wow, what's up with you?" Lang questioned, sitting down next to him. He'd probably have preferred some alone time, but too late now.

"Yea...its been quite a long time..." he said, looking from her up to the sky again. He sighed. Well, when some things are lost others are gained right? He turned to face her again and the blades on his back shifted a little, like they would have ruffled if they were really wings. He took her in, what she looked like this time. Ha, he was pretty much wearing the same thing when they last met, however he could recall enough to know what she was wearing was different.
"In all honesty, I'm not too happy with myself..." he said, his voice matching up to what he said. And now he slid down from his standing position into one that made him sit at her eye level. "A lot of..." - he paused to find the correct word - "unpleasant things have went on recently." he explained briefly, for the benefit of her not needed to ask 'why' twice.

"Oh?" She said with a frown now. That wasn't exactly the best thing to hear. "Sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't want to talk about it, but, what's wrong?" She said, tilting her head slightly as she looked up to him.
Somehow, in a weird way, she felt like she owed it to him, to help him, or talk to him about it, or something. She wasn't around when he was having issues, in a way, she was gone when he actually needed someone to talk to, if that was the case. And she was off just doing nothing, not changing at all while he was having bad day after bad day?

War was quiet, but nodded after a moment. He didn't know why, but he felt inclined to tell Lang at least a little about it. What was there to lose? "Its alright, I have no one else to talk to..." he paused then, trying to gather up the story in his head in a way that made it as short as possible.
"Well, I don't recall if I mentioned it to you before, but I have a little sister. Though, she's only a few years younger then me and just as mature in life. But, recently she met this rather odd guy and they became somewhat of friends. And, well..." he trailed off. The story itself was unbelieveable... "Lets just say that the guy has an enemy that's mad at him. So my sister and I got pulled in between their disagreement and, to avoid anything happening to me, my sister allowed herself to be taken hostage by his enemy. I couldn't stop her and now I can't even help her, because I promised her I wouldn't...." His voice was level falling thoughout the quick story explination, and by the end it was merely just a troubled whisper.

"Oh, I'm so sorry..." She said quietly, listening to the story with a frown. "Well, I don't know how I could help with that, but if there is anything I could do. I mean, I didn't promise I'd go help her... She mumbled, trying to figure out what on earth she could do. Though she wouldn't be much of a help, she wasn't particularly strong, or too cunning. But, her brothers were strong, her sister was clever, there had to be something.
"Really, if there is anything, I'll do all I can." She offered, looking up to him with a very serious face. Though, she was worthless in that sort of stuff most likely, she'd just get in the way, but who knows.

War just shook his head slowly in response. "I thank you for you offer, but its fine. There's really nothing anyone can do but wait. She's far away, taken to a place that very few can reach. But she already as a party in the area, led by the guy who got her into this mess, after her." he explained.
He smiled faintly at Lang, showing his thanks to her listening to his story and offering to help. "I know she'll be fine, she has a strong will and too hard headed to let anything too bad happen. But, as her brother and closest friend, I can't help but to worry. Its a natural reaction."
Wow, this was something very odd for this Aisha to do. Never, to anyone other then his tiny family, did he express things like this. It was a weakness in his eyes, yet he allowed it anyway. I guess, all in all, he trusted this woman enough. Which didn't make sense either, considering their very short time knowing each other. Or maybe he was just being stupid due to lack of concentrated thought. Either way, he just openly expressed a bit of his life to her.

"Alright." She nodded lightly, a bit disappointed in that she couldn't help. "Sorry I'm no help." She said with a shrug, frowning still. "Well, I guess, hope everything works out." She said, now putting on a hopeful smile. It was the very least she could do, but maybe it was something.
"Well, want to get our minds off of this? Sitting here worrying wont exactly help, maybe get a drink or something?" She suggested to him after a moment of thought. In fact, just worrying here would probably be one of the worst things they could do, thinking about it too much would just make them depressed.

He took a spare moment to think over this offer, but agreed rather quickly. "You're right... so alright, lets go." He stood up slowly, his back arching a bit as the metal growing from his back moved like he was stretching. And when done with that, he held out one of his gloved hands to help Lang up.
"But really, its nothing for you to worry about. It'll be alright in the end, even if I'm nagging myself about it inside. And look, I already feel better." Which, was pretty true. Talking about it, even if it was shortly, did help some and now he wasn't completely alone. Maybe it was being so solitary that made it all so much worse. He wasn't even acting all dark and what not like he normally was toward other people.

"Cool." She said with a smile, taking his hand and pulling herself up thankfully.
"Oh, but I have to worry a little at least. I know, things will be ok, but you know how it is, you have to worry a bit over things like this." She said with a shrug, still smiling softly. "Well, glad you feel better." She added with a relieved smile to him. "So, cafe sound good? What do you feel like?" She asked curiously, wandering where they were going.

He grinned a bit at her comment about worrying; it was true without a doubt. But then he shrugged. "I have no idea what to eat, anything is really fine with me. Considering I rarely come to the city just hang out, I have little idea about what's even a good place to go." he said, though he started walking slowly in the direction he knew the park's exit was located and gestured for her to follow. "A cafe is fine with me, or whatever else we run into along the way, unless you know of a particular place you want to go. Like I said, anywhere is fine, and I'm really willing to try to go anywhere."
Well, he was being easy to work with. He truly had very little social life in the city, his job and training kept him so busy it didn't even matter. Even now, he probably should have been home, cleaning and tending to the work his sister left behind. He refused to allow her to come home to an unkept house just because she wasn't there to fulfill her part of the work. But, like she said, everyone needs a break.

"Um, well, I don't know too many places either." She said, sticking out her tongue goofily as she began following him. "How 'bout the first place we find?" She suggested with a grin to him. That would be a real adventure. "I'm not too hungry, maybe something small, a cafe might be good." she suggested as she continued to walk towards the exit with him.

He nodded. "That works for me." he replied. Now, I wonder where they would really end up? Humm, not that it matters really. Being in the line of work War was in, he'd be alright purchasing just about anything. So really, if they ended up in the nicest dining place around it wouldn't matter. "So you're not very hungry, but any idea what you want?" he asked as they approached the street. His ears and antenna fell back slightly as the loud sounds of the busy city streets filled his ears. So many people, too much of a crowd, and that was something he wasn't too excited about. But, for now, he'd push that uncomfortableness aside.
