"Let's see, I think it's three blocks from here, and third house on the left." She said to him with a smile, as they neared the end of the first block. "So, what's your secret, super fast way of getting to your house?" She said with a smile, even if she'd see in no time. Curiousity, what can you do?

He chuckled again, shaking his head back and forth. "Now, now, what's the fun if I just tell you?" A retorical question, mostly. "Besides, even if I told you, I doubt you'd believe me." By now he hand his hands away, in the side pockets of his coat. "But I can tell you my second way, which is normal, and not at all as fast. Still fast considering, though. I told you I have a bike, well I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I drive much faster then the allowed speed limit. Say, hundred twenties through the city."

"Aw, no fun." She said with a frown, though that did build up the suspense rather well, she could hardly wait to see. "Oh really? Well that seems just as fun, you must be a pretty good driver, to never crash at those speeds." She said, thinking just how fast that must be, and on a motorcycle.

The emotion of fun seemed to glitter in his eyes, for two reasons. He could tell she was getting anxious to witness his traveling trick and also because of the driving thing. "Yea, I guess I am." he took one of his hands from his pocket, forming a light fist, and tapping his head. "Besides, even if I were to crash, I'm too hard headed to let it hurt me." He grinned at the joke, but hey, he was hard headed about stuff like that. "Not to mention, my bike can survive the crash easily. Strong parts, remember? They are designed to come out of high speed wrecks without damage."

She chuckled lightly, shaking her head. "Even if you're hard headed, and your bike can survive it, that doesn't mean you can." She said, rolling her eyes, even if he could take care of himself. "It won't do you much good if you get hurt."

He gave her a pouty look, letting his ears and antenna drupe. "Awww, but...but..." Heh heh, awww, he was actually acting like a little kid. After a moment of that he shook his head. "Really, in all the years I've had my bike, I've never gotten hurt because of it. I mean, I've gotten hurt while riding it but by something far different..." he trailed a little with that, definitely not wanting to go into it. "But I'm an excellent driver, thank you very much."

"There's a first for everything, ya never know if a car could be just around the bend. Usually motorcycle accidents are caused by bad drivers." She said with a shrug, curious about that last thing he said, but not sure if she could ask. He definately had a few secrets.

He shrugged. "In the case I'm about to run into a car, I'll jump off, jump over it or swerve around it. No big deal." And, he actually said this like is wasn't a big deal. Jumping off of a high speed moving bike...wow....he must have been insane, at least to her. Oh well. It was better her for her to learn things like this seemingly reckless stuff now before she had to find out later when he he actually did something like that.

"Yeah, that makes it totally safe." she said sarcastically, giving his shoulder a soft punch. He was a tad reckless, but he seemed to be able to take care of himself. She'd just hate to actually be there when he did stuff like that. She turned onto her street as they continued to walk, almost home.

War was fighting the urge just to stick his tongue out at her but, in the end, he behaved and didn't. Yet, she could have probably read it in his eyes. It was a little odd for him, he was acting all happy and what not and it came so naturally. This was something that hardly ever happened with anyone beside well, you know, his sister.
He quickly calculated how much they walked and recalled how far Lang said her house was, three blocks and that was what they walked. "Almost home?"

She smiled to him, happy to see he seemed to be having at least a bit of fun, or not stressing out about stuff at least. "Yup, right up there." She replied, pointing a black tipped finger to a house just two houses up.
It appeared to match most of them, a two floor house that seemed relatively well taken care of, not the most luxurious, but rather nice, especially considering she didn't even have a solid job. She turned into it as they walked, opening the cedar door to reveal the living room, a regular old place with a few chairs, couch, and tv, that lead into the kitchen and some more random rooms.
"The bike's in the garage, right over here." She explained, walking through the living room and opening another door, where she turned on the lights to reveal a most normal looking garage, with shelves of boxes and random things, and a mostly-together motorcycle in one corner, with some parts on the ground next to it, and some paint and tools here and there.

War's eyes followed in the direction the Ixi was pointing, eying the house and mentally approving. From the outside, it seemed like a pleasant looking building.
"This is nice." he said upon entering and glancing around the house a little, nothing really out the ordinary; before he nodded to Lang's words and went on to follow her to the garage. The house itself seemed nice, decent sized and pretty welcoming.
Once actually in the garage, he spotted the bike quickly. "So this is it, huh?" he asked, approaching it and looking over the vehicle briefly. He noted all the tools and paint, assuming she'd been working on it quite a lot, seeing as things seemed to be in good shape. "Nice. The paint job, its really good."

"Thanks." She replied with a proud grin, as she walked over to the bikes side, and rolled her fingers over the green and black swirled paint. It missed only what she couldn't afford, the brakes, handles, a few engine parts here and there...not much. Luckily, she had already gotten all the parts she had planned on painting, so she was through with that much. "I've been working on it for a while, to say the least." She added, pushing away a lock of hair from her bright orange eyes that stared down to her soon-to-be-finished bike.

(Meep, sorry it is taking me so long to reply, I'm babysitting my two year old nephew. I'll edit this with my reply in a moment.)
War smiled in return, looking back at the bike as she spoke. He was inspecting it from his standing position to the best he could, making careful mental notes of what was needed and what he could possibly add if she wanted. "I can tell." his silvery eyes shifted to up to her again, a glint of excitement in his eyes. I guess things like this got him a bit worked up. "Mind if I take a look?"

"Go ahead." She replied with a smile, motioning towards the bike with one hand, before sticking them both in the pockets of her pants. Again, she looked back at her bike, imagining how it would look once it was all put together, what it would feel like to ride, she couldn't wait. Who knows, it could be fixed by today. Just thinking of it made her smile.
ooc: Eek, that doesn't sound too fun. I've never been one for babysitting, though for some reason, little kids love me. O.o Not sure why, most people who know me would think kids would be scared of me, but nope.
